We headed down to the Georgia Coast again this year - our favorite destination. After the requisite restorative regime of lots of sleep and a major dose of fresh Georgia seafood daily, we worked around our little getaway house, fixing the tractor, bush-hogging, and transplanting several volunteer trees to their new location around the house.
The temperatures were frigid for the coast, with windchills in the lower teens, but we drove out to St. Simon's island and found/walked the beach there, watching the colorful kites fight for superiority.
